It seems like some old guy has too much time on his hands and is out being a private citizen vigilante:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part one, he is driving around a neighborhood with a spectrum analyzer looking at signal strength:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pgg-FxTJT50\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seems slightly creepy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then there is part II, the plot twist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/87lJ9hXXTXQ\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actually, looks like a nice studio. PRE BMX II console, RE-20 microphones, and a live performance room at a radio station, what a concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Part III, the trouble of a technical nature sets in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SRnkpGl5kPk\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brave man, fear of heights is overcome because of his love of radio. I myself suffer from Phronemophobia, not in myself, but in other people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So this series<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/p1r4t3z\/videos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> goes on for some<\/a>, then&#8230; First, a Notice Of Unauthorized Operation (NOUO), then, A construction permit for a C1 station! Wow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tBG8hvRICbU\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, they are currently building out their station and putting up a tower. Check out <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kensfm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">89.1 Ken&#8217;s FM-KNNZ<\/a> and see how they are doing.\u00a0 The call sign is <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/transition.fcc.gov\/fcc-bin\/fmq?list=0&amp;facid=175796\" target=\"_blank\">KNNZ<\/a>, licensed to Hawley, MN.\u00a0 Real radio, is alive and well in some places at least.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wonder what kind of transmitter that is, I do not recognize it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good luck, guys.&nbsp; I will have to check out the web stream, it sounds like fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I stumbled on this video on youtube.
