{"id":303,"date":"2009-08-27T12:00:04","date_gmt":"2009-08-27T16:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.engineeringradio.us\/blog\/?p=3928"},"modified":"2023-07-09T08:20:23","modified_gmt":"2023-07-09T12:20:23","slug":"lightning-strikes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.engineeringradio.us\/blog\/2009\/08\/lightning-strikes\/","title":{"rendered":"Lightning strikes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For about 4 years, I lived in a house next to a four hundred-foot radio tower.\u00a0 Although I never actually saw lightning strike the tower, I heard it several times.\u00a0 Like everything else, after a while, you get used to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a video of lightning hitting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/fcc-bin\/fmq?list=0&amp;facid=59815\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WSIX<\/a> STL tower in Nashville, TN.
