{"id":2070,"date":"2010-12-21T21:59:51","date_gmt":"2010-12-22T01:59:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.engineeringradio.us\/blog\/?p=3928"},"modified":"2023-09-23T09:40:39","modified_gmt":"2023-09-23T13:40:39","slug":"this-is-what-youll-get","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.engineeringradio.us\/blog\/2010\/12\/this-is-what-youll-get\/","title":{"rendered":"This is what you&#8217;ll get&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Back many, many years ago, in a city far away, I was driving down the road and I flipped one of &#8220;my&#8221; stations on the air. &nbsp;The end of this song was playing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><object width=\"640\" height=\"505\" classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/f2Pb9LVrCSQ?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\"><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\"><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"640\" height=\"505\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/f2Pb9LVrCSQ?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/object><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ending sounds an awful lot like a <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moseleysb.com\/mb\/mrc_family.html\" target=\"_blank\">Moseley MRC-16<\/a> transmitter remote control&#8217;s return telemetry. \u00a0When I heard that on the air, my first response was &#8220;HOLY SH*T!
